Jelani Karamoko is a Partner at Lewis & Munday, P.C., experienced in providing legal services in residential and commercial real estate transactions, including real estate acquisitions, purchase and development agreements, quiet title actions, and financing documents for development projects. He has served a wide range of real estate clients in connection with transactional matters, including entity formation, property compliance, and coordinating the acquisition of residential properties in partnership with public agencies. Mr. Karamoko is active in speaking engagements focusing on the real estate market in the Detroit metropolitan area. Prior to joining Lewis & Munday, Mr. Karamoko served as the Principal Attorney at the Detroit Land Bank Authority where he oversaw projects including residential nuisance abatement, land assembly, and inventory management to improve targeted revitalization areas, and later the Executive Director for the Wayne County Land Bank to develop a new strategy to target blighted residential properties.
