Susan Hoffman has specialized in the area of public finance law since 1987. She has served as bond counsel and underwriter's counsel on Washington, Oregon, and Michigan transactions encompassing a variety of financing structures and involving issuance of revenue bonds, special tax bonds, general obligation bonds, certificates of participation, tax increment bonds, special assessment bonds, and short term cash flow borrowings. Included among the facilities financed by these obligations are public schools, airports, public transportation, housing, universities, health care facilities, public buildings, solid waste facilities, parking facilities, water supply systems, sewage disposal systems, stadiums, convention facilities, infrastructure improvements, and student loans.

Ms. Hoffman practiced in the firm's Detroit office for eight years prior to opening the firm's west coast office in August 2003. She is a member of the Washington and Michigan bars as well as the National Association of Bond Lawyers.
