Ngozi E. Nwaesei is a member of the firm's Real Estate Group. Ms. Nwaesei's primary area of practice is real estate transactions, including commercial leases and property acquisition and disposition.
Prior to joining Lewis & Munday, Ms. Nwaesei served as Internal Counsel to a local commercial real estate developer with real estate holdings across the United States and Europe. As a result, she has acquired extensive experience in the negotiation and drafting of purchase agreements, leases, service agreements, employment agreements, employee handbooks, confidentiality agreements and other transactional documents.
A native of Canada with extensive ties to Michigan, Ms. Nwaesei received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan in 2003. She earned her Juris Doctor from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio in 2007. During her tenure at Case Western Reserve University School of Law, Ms. Nwaesei served as a member of the Jonathan A. Ault Mock Trial team (2007 AAJ Regional Champion, 2007 AAJ National Quarter-Finalist) and was an active member of the National Black Law Student Association on both a local and regional level. Ms. Nwaesei is currently admitted to practice law in the State of Michigan.
Ms. Nwaesei's personal interests include urban revitalization projects, interior design, reading/writing, golf and basketball.
