Ken holds a strong commitment to pro bono public service. He was appointed by the Mayor of Seattle, confirmed by the Seattle City Council, and served as the Citizen Observer to the Seattle Police Department Firearms Review Board. Previous boards and commissions served on by Ken include Mayoral appointment and Seattle City Council confirmation as a Board Member to the Burke Gilman Place Public Development Authority. Ken is a Past President of the Loren Miller Bar Association and Member of the Board of Trustees of the College Club of Seattle. Previous civic public service also includes service as a Board Member of the Central Area Senior Service Center and Board Member of the Urban League of Seattle.
